I graduated from the Professional Program of the Chicago
School of Massage Therapy (CSMT 40) in April 1998 and immediately
began working in private practice and became a regular volunteer
with the AIDS Alternative Health Project, located in Chicago's
Uptown Neighborhood.
Since then I have become nationally certified
by the National Certification
Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and an active
professional member of the American Massage
Therapy Association (AMTA). I am recognized
by the State of California as a Massage Therapy Instructor and am
currently the program chair at United Education Institute in
Huntington Park, CA.
I have continued my studies in massage and bodywork most recently
becoming certified in CranialSacral Therapy through the Upledger
Institute.
Prior to becoming a massage therapist I began training
as a Reiki practitioner. I have since completed all levels of
training and am a certified Reiki master/teacher. I am a member
of the Reiki
Council, which is a professional association of Reiki Practitioners
and regularly teach classes in Reiki training.
